Window Regulator Service

Repair or replacement of motors and regulators when a window won't go up or down.

Window regulator and motor repair

When a window sticks, drops into the door or just clicks, the problem is usually the regulator, cable, track, motor or switch. We diagnose the real cause instead of guessing at parts.

If a part has to be ordered, we secure the window in the up position the same visit so your car stays weather-tight and safe.

  • Diagnosis of motors, cables, tracks and switches when a window sticks, drops or clicks
  • Broken regulator cables and stripped gears replaced with quality parts
  • Window secured in the up position the same visit if a part has to be ordered
  • Common on older Hondas, Fords, Chevys and BMWs — we've seen them all

How it works

Step 1

Diagnose

Motor, cables, tracks and switches tested with the panel open.

Step 2

Repair or replace

Broken cables and stripped gears replaced with quality parts.

Step 3

Verify

Window cycled up and down repeatedly before the panel goes back on.

Common questions

Is it the motor or the regulator?

Both are common. A clicking or grinding sound usually means the regulator; total silence often points to the motor or switch.

Do you see this on older cars?

Constantly — older Hondas, Fords, Chevys and BMWs especially.
