ADAS Calibration

ADAS calibration after windshield replacement

If your vehicle has lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking or rain sensing, the camera behind your windshield has to be recalibrated any time the glass is replaced. A camera aimed a fraction of a degree off reads the road wrong.

We perform static and dynamic calibration to manufacturer spec and give you documentation of the completed calibration for your records or your insurer.

  • Static and dynamic calibration for forward-facing cameras mounted to the windshield
  • Required by most manufacturers any time the windshield is replaced
  • Keeps lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking and rain sensing accurate
  • You get documentation of the completed calibration for your records or your insurer

How it works

Step 1

Identify

We confirm which systems your vehicle runs and what calibration the manufacturer requires.

Step 2

Static targets

Target boards set at measured distances let the camera relearn its aim.

Step 3

Dynamic drive

Where required, a road drive at set speeds completes the calibration.

Step 4

Documentation

You get a printed or emailed report showing the calibration passed.

Common questions

Do I really need it?

Yes — most manufacturers require it after every windshield replacement, and skipping it can leave safety systems inaccurate.

Is it included with my replacement?

It's quoted with your job so there are no surprises, and insurance normally covers it alongside the glass.
